Refugee Women’s Network Annual Gala

Refugee Women’s Network (RWN) Refugee Women’s Network (RWN) is a 501c3 organization serving refugees and Immigrants resettled in the state of Georgia. As the Marketing Coordinator for the “Global Feast Under The Stars,” I was responsible for assisting with the online needs and marketing materials involving the Refugee Women's Network annual fundraiser. My design choices were made deliberately to advertise an unforgettable night under the stars for the guests.

The final invitation uses a gradient of stars on the edges of the page to reflect the theme of the event. The QR code at the bottom takes the user to the event ticketing website when scanned. The text uses a mix of bold and serif fonts to create contrast and make certain phrases more eye-catching. The text and images are laid out so that all important information is displayed on the invitation, without it appearing to be cluttered.

The sponsorship package was an important document that was needed to distribute to sponsors for the event. The package uses elegant framing intended to mimic the petals of the Refugee Women's Network logo. The framing was re-colored to the exact same color yellow used in the logo. The phrase "Celebrate With Us" is used across all marketing materials to develop consistency and brand image.

One of the challenges that I faced as the Marketing Coordinator was creating an image of what the guest experience would be like, with very limited pictures and videos provided to me. I decided to create a banner to be displayed on the landing page for the website, that would show the exquisite lineup of food that guests could expect.

Impact

I led the marketing strategy for Refugee Women’s Network’s annual fundraiser, driving a sold-out event and generating $14,000 in ticket revenue. I built and managed the event’s full digital ecosystem, including a custom ticketing website, landing page, and sponsorship materials, to create a cohesive and conversion-focused experience. Over a 6-week campaign across Instagram and Facebook, I increased ticket sales from 10 to 200, transforming early traction into a fully booked event.

Refugee Women’s Network International Women’s Day Celebration

For Refugee Women’s Network’s International Women’s Day Celebration, I designed a series of invitation concepts to present to the Executive Director, each aligned with the organization’s visual identity while creating a special edition women-centered design.

The designs were distributed to thousands of recipients in the Atlanta area and adapted into different formats for digital distribution. Additionally, I was responsible for creating and managing the online ticketing platform as well as guest communications.

Impact

I led the marketing strategy for Refugee Women’s Network’s International Women’s Day Celebration, delivering another sold-out event for the organization. The campaign generated approximately $5,000 in ticket sales alone. Due to its strong reception, the invitation design was selected to serve as the visual identity for future annual celebrations.
